The Redeemed Christian Church of God‘s, General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye has been criticized for not making any comment over the security challenges in the Country.

Adeboye was criticized after 5 pastors of the RCCG ministry were abducted by kinsmen last week on their way to attend the Holy Ghost convention at the church headquarters on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Pastor Adeboye was lambasted by members of the public for his continued refusal to call out the Muhammadu Buhari administration over their failures to secure the lives of citizens from the vicious attacks and abductions by his Fulani herdsmen kinsmen.

The man of God responded to the critics, on Tuesday night at the ongoing convention themed, ALL WILL BE WELL, by quoting a bible verse from Deut 28:1-13, “The Lord promised to cause his enemies that rise up against him to be smitten before his face if we hearken diligently to his commandments”.

According to Pastor Adeboye, when you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God, Prosperity, healing, victory and abundance will be your portion.  Pastor Adeboye challenged Christian Leaders to continually preach the gospel of Jesus and develop themselves with sound biblical teaching and training for them to excel in the call of God upon their lives.

During the Tuesday service, Pastor Adeboye pointed to the widow in the scripture who was in debt and the people she owed wanted her children in place of her debt, but she ran to the prophet and hearkens to the prophet’s instruction and God did the miraculous. “We cannot take the gospel of Jesus to the corners of the world without money. The money will come into your pocket first and you sow bountifully, you will also reap bountifully”, he said.

The service started with a wonderful presentation by the youth department.
