Residents panic as ritual killers besiege Ondo community

Residents of Arigidi community in Akoko Northeast local government area of Ondo State have been thrown into panic as cases of ritual killings continue to rise in the community.

The incidents became more worrisome after the recent killing of an octogenarian, Mrs. Kojusola Mogaji, on  Thursday night.

She was said to have been the sixth woman to be killed in recent times, with their breasts and other private parts removed.

Herald Nigeria gathered that two other incidents happened opposite Ecobank, Ikare, one at Okeagbe Ikare, another one was at Agbaluku Arigidi.

The incidents and the ensuing tension have reportedly dissuaded many women from attending to strangers or going to churches and mosques for morning prayer sessions.
