The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says an impersonator is parading himself as the Executive Chairman of the commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, on Facebook.
According to a Wednesday statement by the EFCC, the fake Olukoyede has also been advertising a phony telephone line, 08028189925 as the “private line” of the EFCC’s boss.
A quick check by The Herald on the Trucaller app indicated the Airtel number belonged to one ‘Adesewa’.
The EFCC enjoined the public to be wary of the antics of the impersonator, while efforts are being made to bring the suspect to book.
