A security guard, Mallam Abdullahi Ardo, is suspected to have killed himself inside a primary school in Gombe State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar said this in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.
The police spokesman disclosed that Ardo, 38, had been employed as a watchman at Child Care Development Primary School, where he was found dangling from a rope.
Abubakar said, “A 38-year-old Mallam Abdullahi Ardo attached to Child Care Development Primary School as a watchman, was suspected to have committed suicide in the early hours of Monday, by hanging himself using a piece of rag on a swinging pole within the school at Tudun Wada qtrs Gombe.”
