Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has shared insights into his ideal woman, playfully referring to her as a “Jesus’ baddie.” The ‘Who Is Your Guy’ crooner expressed his desire to marry an attractive partner who not only loves Jesus but also embodies a confident and stylish persona.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, Spyro outlined his criteria for an ideal life partner, stating, “My spec is a Jesus’ baddie. That’s my spec: Know God but be a baddie. Don’t be a mediocre because you know God. Dress well and speak well. Do those things that bad girls do but do it for your husband alone.”
The singer’s preference blends a love for spirituality with a modern and stylish lifestyle. He envisions a woman who embraces both her faith and a contemporary sense of fashion, creating a unique blend of qualities.
Spyro also addressed social media trolls who have urged him to choose between secular and gospel music. He emphasized that his secular songs do not compromise his love for God, and he can use his platform to express both aspects of his identity.
“In anything you do in life, you will always get criticized. And we just have to take a stance. It’s either you are hot or you are cold. It’s either you are for God or you are not for God,” Spyro remarked. “I’m a Christian, and I make music. You can be a banker and still represent God in your field. I’m saying that I love God and I’m using my platform to talk about him. It doesn’t mean I shouldn’t go about my business.”
