A few days ago the picture of a police woman directing traffic under the rain in Oyo state surfaced and went viral rather quickly, with many impressed by her dedication.
It seems her endeavours have now been rewarded as she was presented with a letter of commendation and a cash gift.
The gift was bestowed by the First Lady of Oyo state, Mrs Florence Ajimobi on Thursday.
The award was presented to her by the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Atinuke Osunkoya at the Police Headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan.
