Tambuwal Visits Atiku In Abuja

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has visited former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in his home.

The visit took place in the vice president’s home in the highbrow Asokoro area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Both politicians were in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) before defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

While the purpose of the visit remains unknown, it is believed to be connected to the 2019 presidential election.

After meeting the ex-vice president, Tambuwal also held a meeting with Otunba Gbenga Daniel, director-general of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation.

The senator representing Kano Central senatorial district in the National, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, equally visited Atiku just as the APC National Convention was ongoing on June 23.

Kwankwaso is also believed to be interested in the presidential ticket of the PDP.
