Halle Bailey, known for her role in “The Little Mermaid,” has announced the arrival of her first child with boyfriend DDG. The 23-year-old actress shared the joyous news on Instagram, introducing their son named Halo to the world.
The post featured a heartwarming image of Bailey’s manicured hand gently holding that of her newborn, adorned with a gold bracelet engraved with the name “Halo.” In her caption, Bailey expressed gratitude for the greatest gift of 2023, stating, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son… welcome to the world, my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”
Bailey and DDG, 26, have been in a relationship for over a year, making their romance Instagram official in March 2022 when DDG, the founder of Zooted Music record label, shared a birthday tribute to the R&B singer.
Known for her privacy, Bailey never officially confirmed her pregnancy, maintaining a low profile throughout the journey. In November, she responded to a fan on Snapchat who speculated about her “pregnancy nose” in a photo. Bailey humorously addressed the comment with a video, stating, “Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s going to be hell to pay.”
