President Bola Tinubu and his main challengers – Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi – are not in court as the Supreme Court begins delivering its judgement on the challengers’ appeals today.

The apex court had fixed today to deliver judgement on the appeals filed by Atiku and Obi against the September 6 ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

Dignitaries presently in court are the Chief of Staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila; FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure.

The Herald can report that Nigerians are waiting with bated breath for the Supreme Court’s ruling on the appeals.
