Tinubu Inaugurates Newly Redesigned Airport Road Named After Him In Imo

President Bola Tinubu has officially inaugurated the renovated Sam Mbakwe International Airport road, now named after him.

The road redesign is one of the infrastructural achievements of the Hope Uzodimma-led administration in Imo state.

Tinubu is currently in the southeast state to attend the second-term inauguration of the governor.

Uzodimma was re-elected in November 2023 after defeating his rivals in the governorship poll.

Governor Uzodimma said the renaming of the road was to honour President Tinubu ”for his contributions to the development of Imo state.”

The famous road leading to the city centre in Imo state will now be known as ‘Bola Tinubu Drive’ henceforth.
