Reality TV star Tolanibaj has taken a mature step by issuing a heartfelt apology to her fellow housemate, Princess Onyejekwe, for her prior actions during their time in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house.
The genesis of the conflict stems from an incident where Tolanibaj expressed her discontent with Princess dancing with Neo Akpofure, who was romantically linked to Tolanibaj during their stay in the BBNaija house. The confrontation occurred during one of the Saturday night parties within the reality show.
However, in a bid to make amends and address her past behavior, Tolanibaj released a video on her YouTube channel, expressing remorse for her disrespectful and immature conduct towards Princess. She admitted that a more mature and considerate approach, like engaging in a girl-to-girl conversation, would have been the appropriate response.
Tolanibaj sincerely conveyed her regret, saying, “I’m so sorry for anything that I did to you that was very disrespectful. I feel like I should have had a girl-to-girl chat with you. And I shouldn’t have been rude. I should have been more mature about it. So, I’m sorry. This is me apologizing to you on my YouTube channel.”
In a gracious response, Princess accepted the apology and commended Tolanibaj, referring to her as a diva. She also revealed that one of the reasons she didn’t reach out to Tolanibaj immediately after their exit from the show was her uncertainty about Tolanibaj’s feelings regarding the situation.
In her words, Princess shared, “Thank you, baby. I’ve always known that you’re such a diva. Part of why I didn’t reach out to you when we came out, I was telling Doyin that I don’t know how you’re feeling. I really do like you.”
