A heated debate has erupted on Twitter between fans of Nigerian music legends Flavor and 9ice.
Twitter user Kussman sparked the controversy by claiming that Flavor is a much more successful artist than 9ice, citing Flavor’s recent US tour and 9ice’s lackluster performance history.

Kussman also pointed out that 9ice failed to deliver on his promise to bring a Grammy award home, while Flavor has sold out shows all over the world and commanded fees as high as $55,000 for an international performance.
Flavor : sold out shows in Botswana, Cameroon, Suriname, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia, Malaysia, The Gambia, Canada, Mali, USA & more. In 2014, he charged as much as $55,000 for an INTERNATIONAL show.

However, not everyone agrees with Kussman’s assessment. Some fans of both artists have chimed in to say that they love them both equally, while others have staunchly defended 9ice and criticized Kussman for disrespecting the musician.
The debate rages on, with no clear winner in sight.
