For popular gospel musician Nikki Laoye, Understanding is key in making marriages work. She shared her opinion in a recent interview.
“Most individuals do not find their ‘friends’ in their partners which however contributes to the growing rate of failed celebrity marriages. One major thing I think is responsible for failed marriages is when one is very insensitive to his/her partner. Women love attention. I love it and my husband understands me for who I am and that is very important in a union. Apart from buying the gifts and doing a couple of other things, you should always understand what your partner wants.”
Nikky got married to her beau Alexander Oturu on December 11, 2011.
