Upwork up 40%, On Track For Largest Percentage Increase Since Q4 2020

Upwork, Inc. ($UPWK), the company that helps growing businesses find and work with top-notch talent and agencies, is currently at $13.86, up $3.89 or 39.02%

This would make it the highest close since Feb. 15, 2023, when it closed at $13.94 and it is on pace for largest percent increase since Nov. 5, 2020, when it rose 44.50%

$UPWK is up 32.76% year-to-date, down 77.17% from its all-time closing high of $60.70 on July 13, 2021, down 33.87% from 52 weeks ago (Aug. 4, 2022), when it closed at $20.96 and down 34.25% from its 52-week closing high of $21.08 on Aug. 8, 2022.

The daily chart shows a massive gap up over the 200 day moving average to $14.50 per share. A gap fill to the downside is possible but the wide range bar and the move above the 200ma makes it likely that a continuation upwards can occur.

With a 10818.11% and 3.74% surprise on earnings and revenue, respectively, one can see why the surge in price occurred.
