A resident of Abule-Egba, Lagos has called out Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Lagos State Governor, Joe Igbokwe as flash flood swept through the area on Saturday.
The unnamed resident shared a video of the flood taking over the road and disturbing vehicular and pedestrian movement.
Launching into a tirade, the resident said that Igbokwe should focus on how to help combat flooding in Lagos by virtue of his office instead of concentrating on political talk on social media.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government has sympathised with residents of the state over heavy flash flooding experienced in several parts of the state.
in a statement by the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tunji Bello, the state government said the flooding challenges were being addressed.
