VIDEO: Female teacher beats up student in North Carolina

A cellphone video has emerged of the moment a female teacher and an unruly female student got into a fight in a high school in North Carolina.

In the incident that occurred at Rocky Mount High School, the substitute teacher, who has been identified as Xaviera Steele, appeared to have confiscated the student’s cell phone during a class session.

The student however confronted the teacher in an attempt to retrieve the phone.

Steele could be heard telling the student multiple times not to touch her, a warning that was ignored as the student took a swing at her.

The teacher, who has been with the Nash County Schools for about a year, retaliated and a fight broke out.

The 47-second video ends as the student, who was being beaten up, frantically pleaded with fellow students to get a teacher.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mount police confirmed that the incident occurred on Monday morning and is being investigated.

Police also said no injuries were reported.
