A Nigerian man has rolled himself in the mud, pleading earnestly with his girlfriend for rejecting his marriage proposal.
According to a video making rounds on social media, a man who is yet to be identified knelt to propose to his girlfriend in a popular market in Owerri, Imo state.
The lady who appears to be uninterested in the man rejected his proposal.
Dressed in white, the guy prostrated before the lady pleading earnestly with her to accept him. This action seemed to aggravate her as she began to shout at the guy, asking to be left alone.
Unable to handle the public rejection, the heartbroken man broke down in hot tears and rolled in the mud as he continued to plead with his lover.
Many Nigerians have slammed the man for going to such lengths to convince the lady for marriage.
