Watch Footballer In Saudi Arabia forced to cut ‘Anti Islamic’ Hairstyle In the Middle of Game

A footballer plying his trade in Saudi Arabia was surprised when he was called off mid match to cut off what was termed an Anti Islamic hairstyle.

Waleed Abdullah, who is also Saudi Arabia’s national team goalkeeper received the shock of his life when he was told to choose between having his Mo Hawk hairstyle cut or miss the game because the hairstyle was too ‘anti-islamic’.

He chose to have the hair cut and the referee produced a pair of scissors to prune down the offending hair. He was subsequently allowed to go back to play.
