"We're Truly Living in Evil Times": Gay CoComelon Content on Netflix Stirs Furious Reactions

The Herald reports that the latest episode of CoComelon Lane, a popular Netflix show for babies and toddlers has stirred furious reaction for featuring a boy dressed up in a tiara and skirt to dance for his two fathers.

The latest CocoMelon Lane episode features a touching scene where a boy, adorned in a dress, joyfully dances alongside his two gay dads. The episode is a picture portrayal of a diverse family intent on teaching acceptance from an early age.

Despite ‘CoComelon’ being widely recognized as the most popular show for babies and toddlers aged 2 and above, the inclusive content has triggered a wave of furious reactions.

Viewer vehemently opposed to what they perceive as an unconventional and inappropriate picture for the target audience.

An individual reacted by saying,” Who lets their kids watch Cocomelon when they can watch Bluey? Cocomelon is uncanny valley child abuse.”

Another employed that the episode was aimed to change the way children thinks because that can’t change the way grownups thinks.

” We are truly living in evil times”, an individual expresses that the latest episode has proven the ill-nature of the world.

CocoMelon Lane is the first original Netflix show from the CocoMelon franchise, which has been incredibly popular on YouTube for its songs aimed at toddlers and young children. CocoMelon’s YouTube channel has over 169 million subscribers, making it the third most subscribed channel on the platform.

The Netflix version of CocoMelon’s show is not the first show aimed at children to include LGBT content, as Rubble & Crew, a spin-off of the incredibly popular Paw Patrol show, featured a nonbinary character. Similarly, Peppa Pig, a British children’s educational cartoon, featured a lesbian couple in an episode last year.
