President Bola Tinubu has congratulated elder statesman, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, on his 96th birthday.
Tinubu congratulated the Afenifere leader in a Wednesday statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
According to the statement, the president commended Chief Adebanjo for his decades of spirited advocacy for a united and equitable Nigeria, as well as for contributions to enriching the national discourse.
“President Tinubu wishes Pa Adebanjo a happy birthday and prays to God Almighty to grant him many more years in excellent health,” the statement read in part.
