The Police had gotten a complaint call from Kankara General Hospital in Katsina State about a man who repeatedly raped a young girl but was rushed to the hospital after the event. Information retrieved from the call prompted officers to swing into action. However, as they got to the hospital, the police found out that his member had also been badly cut by the young girl.
The alleged rapist, Bishir Yau, who is from Yargase village is said to have deceived the 14-year-old girl by taking her to an uncompleted building. Since they stayed in the same compound, she victim barely knew what he was up to until he began to force his way inside her.
Bishir, 30, allegedly raped the girl several times and all the efforts his victim made to free herself was to no avail until she used a razor blade to savagely cut through his member.
The suspect has now been charged for rape, under section 283 of the country’s penal code.
Although Bishir has been granted bail, he is expected to appear in court on April 4, 2019, before a Senior Magistrate in the state.
The police have since reported that investigations have been wrapped up.
