Ever the controversial one, Pop star Madonna is in the news again. This time, it is as a result of a photo she posted of her adopted kids – Mercy and David – rubbing her feet after she had a long day while promoting her Rebel Heart album.
The photo, which she posted on both Instagram and Twitter, has gotten quite the mixed reaction. Team A is for the photo; saying it is a typical day in a loving family. Team B is against the photo; saying it has elements of racism.

After paying their school fees they’d better rub her damned feet. I used to make my baby brother rub my feet all the time. Sometimes people exhaust me. So now she can’t make them fetch her purse or even spank them (if she were that kind of mother) because she’s afraid it will look racist? What, she woke up years ago and decided ‘Hmm, let me take racism to a new high. I shall go out of my way to adopt some African kids specifically to turn them into slaves.’ All of them should mind their own damned business. Heck, maybe they volunteered to rub her feet sef.

Co-sign. My niece rubs her mum’s feet when she comes home and pampers her. Its so cute to see. She’s their mum. People have become so suspicious and cynical. Na wa.

Some things just need to stay out of the social media… for me, its no big deal, just having a nice family time… there are times, I have some fun time with my son and I say rub mummy’s back, comb mummy hair and even rub mummy’s feet… Madonna won’t get off this easily
