Each passing seconds this ‘Vampires’ foolhardy has continued to beat every human imagination, design thinking and thoughts. They are coming out stronger and bolder, over running military formation, forts, schools, villages and communities in broad daylight with impunity.
Rt. Honorable Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Nigeria’s Minister for Transportation boldly asserted recently that Boko Haram Terrorists [BHT] only existed in Borno State and before any body could say ‘Jack Robinson’ they have over ran Buni Gari in Yobe State.
Suffice to say, Nigerian Army Chief of Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai was comical when he said that Boko Haram Terrorists is attacking Nigerian Army military bases with ‘drones’. The Shehu of Borno openly confessed that Borno State is completely under the siege of Boko Haram Terrorists [BHT]. He said, “residents cannot traveled 5 kilometers away from Maiduguri metropolis without a military escort.”
The ongoing invincibility and indomitable attacks by Boko Haram Terrorists [BHT] has necessitated the relocation of Chief of Army Staff [COAS], Lt. General Tukur Buratai and Chief of Air Staff [CAS] Air Vice Marshal Sadiq to Maiduguri Operation ‘Lafiya Dole’ Theater Command i a bid to ginger the defenseless and hapless Nigerian military personnel in the front-line.
The brutish onslaught by Boko Haram Terrorists [BHT] in Borno and Yobe States is becoming an embarrassment to the nation and the military. As these two states has continued to be Boko Haram Terrorists [BHT] foot-mat and stronghold, despite reinforcement of the military by the Nigerian Police Mobile Force, the battle for the soul of Borno and Yobe States and by extension Adamawa State is still hanging in balance.
The ‘Metele Massacre’, Multinational Joint Task Force Headquarter, Baga Overrun’, Nigerian Police Mobile Force ‘Away Without Official Leave’ [AWOL] or ‘Missing-In-Action’ [MIA] Scenario. Where has the military got it wrong?
What is the source of Bko Haram Terrorists [BHT] weapons? Who is financing these terrorists? How did Boko Haram Terrorits [BHT] acquired their weapons and through which border and means? Is it by ‘shell’ corporations?
From Yobe State traverse through Gombe State – Bauchi State – Jigawa State – Kano State – Katsina State – and then to Zamfara State where bandits has over the last two years hold the entire state to ransom.
Zamfara State has not known peace in the last two years, as bandits has has totally taken over the state. The deployment of policemen to contained the rampaging bandits only created more embarrassment to the police as they were ruthlessly clipped by the Zamafara State bandits!
Nigerian Army personnel that was also drafted to help shore up the defense of the police were also rooted and some of the personnel met their water-loo. It is a pitiable sight to behold as the Zamfara State bandits incapacitated Nigerian Army troops.
