Linda Ikeji & Wizkid’s brawl shows that pettiness sells. It went viral. That’s the latest gossip. Nothing else matters.
Ikeji attacked(reported) first with her “hustle” news about Wizkid’s eviction. Wizkid went mad; he dished out derogatory terms.
Wizkid’s defence against Ikeji’s is “I’ve bought G63, 2 Porches and one Bentley”. Then Ikeji defended herself by another rant about not sleeping with Wizkid’s director.
These brawls achieve nothing. It’s about egos and a display of who is materially relevant in the showbiz scheme of things. Telemundo is nothing when placed near two clashing Nigerian stars. We love our own locally made WWN: Davido vs Momodu; OLamide Vs Don Jazzy; P-Square vs P-Square; etc.
I guess these things come with the territory of entertainment. I guess we should just bring our pop-corns out and continue to read as two supposed ambassadors blast each other publicly.
