An Uber driver took to social media, expressing his frustration over the alleged lack of gratuity from Nigerian singer Teni, whom he claimed he drove twice while working as an Uber driver in Los Angeles. The driver narrated his experience, highlighting the fact that not only did he play her music during the rides, but he also burnt his data for her entertainment, only to receive no tip.

In a now-viral post, the disgruntled driver said, “I pick you up twice while I was still doing Uber in Los Angeles, and I even play your music, and you no even tip 1 cent. We can be better. Peace.” He detailed the specific circumstances, pointing out that the rides were on regular Uber X and that the short distances amounted to a meager $6 earnings.

The netizen, who posted the complaint, further elaborated, criticizing Teni’s alleged lack of gratitude. He accused her of not appreciating the efforts he made to play her music and even lamented her entering his car in what he described as a “dirty state.” He questioned her actions, suggesting that not everything that shines is truly precious.

This exchange unfolded when Teni, the Entertainer, extended a gesture of generosity to a lady named Mum Zee, who gained online attention for waking up at 4:30 am to cook for her husband. Mum Zee had been receiving gifts and money from well-wishers, including Teni. However, this Uber driver’s revelation brought a different perspective to Teni’s interactions with people.

In response to the accusation, Teni swiftly addressed the issue, stating, “Na deodorant and toothpaste Gangan u need.“, implying the Uber driver was dirty and needs to pay attention to his body and mouth odor.
