Big Brother Naija reality show star, Uriel Oputa, has expressed her determination not to back down from a budding romance with her younger colleague, Groovy, despite the age difference that has drawn attention.

Uriel Oputa chose to respond to her critics directly through her Instagram story. She asserted that she would not reject love based on her age and emphasized her right to seek happiness.
In a series of posts, she conveyed her perspective, saying, “I’m Nigerian British. I will never reject love because of my age. I deserve happiness. I won’t reject a caring man because I’m 5 years older.”
Uriel then cited a couple named Stan Eze and Blessing as a prime example of age not being a barrier to love, asserting her commitment to her own happiness and not owing anyone an explanation.
She further delved into her connection with Groovy, describing how they met and highlighting the genuine connection that had developed.
In response to Uriel’s posts, Groovy conveyed his sentiments by sharing her message on his Instagram story along with love emojis, emphasizing his affection for her.
