Thousands of them scattered across the nation were pleasantly surprised to receive a significant increase in their July salary, The Herald learnt.
It was gathered that the bank’s board implemented a fuel allowance for the staff to cushion the effect of high transportation costs occasioned by the fuel pump price hike in the country.
A Twitter user, @RobinaxOg, drew attention to the matter in a tweet on Monday evening.
