Zoe Saldana’s Husband Takes Her Last Name

The husband of American actress Zoe Saldana, Marco Perego, flouted tradition and took his wife’s last name. The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 37, revealed in the July issue of InStyle magazine, which marks her first magazine cover since giving birth to her twin sons in November.
“I tried to talk him out of it,” she said. “I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.”
But Marco looks up at me and says (in his Italian accent), “Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a shit.”

Perego, now presumably Mr Saldana, is an Italian artist and former professional football player.
