President Buhari and under fire Speaker of the house of representatives Yakubu Dogara are currently in a closed-door meeting over the allegations of budget padding that has been flying around.
Dogara had been fingered for padding the 2016 budget by ex-chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin.
The Speaker was said to have arrived at the President’s office at around 2:30pm for the meeting with Buhari.
The details of the meeting are unknown but will be revealed in due course.
