The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that Adamawa Governor-elect, Ahmadu Fintiri, and Deputy Governor-elect, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta will be presented their certificates of return today.
In a statement, the commission said that the exercise will hold by 3pm today at the INEC Conference Room, INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.
Members of the National Assembly-elect from the state will also get their certificates of return by 11am at the same venue, INEC said.
The statement read, “Following the conclusion of supplementary elections nationwide and the declaration of winners, the Commission will present certificates of return to the Adamawa State Governor and Deputy Governor-elect at 3pm today.
“Similarly, members of the National Assembly-elect (Senators and House of Representatives) will receive their certificates from 11am today.
“Venue is the INEC Conference Room, INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.
“Members of State Houses of Assembly-elect should contact our State offices for their Certificates.”
