An American student of the university of Virginia has been arrested in North Korea, according to the state media.
The student, who reportedly entered North Korea on a tourist visit, is now accused of carrying out a hostile act against the Democratic People’ Republic of North Korea.
“The student entered the North Korea for the purpose of bringing down the foundation of its single-minded unity at the tacit connivance of the U.S. government,” the report said.
The identity of the student is yet to be known as officials are working hard to confirm his identity.
