The tech giant, Apple admits that the screens on iPhone 11 manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 has the potential to become unresponsive because of an issue with the display module and therefore introduces free replacement for unresponsive Screens.

Apple says a small percentage of iPhone 11 units do malfunction whenever the screen is in use, and it’s taking responsibility for the fault by swapping out their displays for free as part of a new replacement program.

However, Apple did not explain the actual causes of the unresponsive screen, but the company is requesting owners of iPhone 11 with affected display to check their phone’s serial number on the support page to find out if they are eligible for a free replacement.

The program was designed for iPhone 11 models manufactured within the stated period alone. Other models, including iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, are excluded from the free screen replacement program.

The statement added that those who already had their screens repaired and paid for it could also get a refund, though they would have to talk to support to get the process started.
