The 2023 presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has denied forging his secondary school certificate.

Atiku spoke through one of his media aides, Chief Dele Momodu, in an X post on Tuesday.

He spoke amid speculations of a discrepancy between the name that appears on his secondary school leaving certificate and his other academic credentials.

According to Momodu, supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had been bombarding him with questions concerning the different names on Atiku’s secondary school certificate and his other academic credentials.

Reacting, Atiku said he used the name Sadiq Abubakar while sitting for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) secondary school examination but later swore an affidavit which affirmed that Sadiq Abubakar and Atiku Abubakar were the same persons.

Momodu’s post on X, formerly known as Twitter, read:

The APC busybodies have been bombarding me with allegations of forgery against my Principal, ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR (GCON) which I immediately forwarded to him and here is his copious response: “Yes I used Sadiq Abubakar to sit for my WAEC and after passing my exams I went to swear an affidavit to say I am the same person as ATIKU Abubakar. I went to ABU as Atiku Abuakar and passed my Exams as Atiku Abubakar. Interviewed as Atiku Abubakar by the Federal Civil Service Commission and hired into the Customs Service as Atiku Abubakar. So where is forgery there?” – ATIKU ABUBAKAR

CAN THE APC social media bullies forward the deluge of questions in circulation to their boss and get instant and direct response…

I SALUTE ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR…
