Atiku’s Son Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Former vice President and presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has announced that his son has been diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Atiku made the announcement via his Twitter handle @Atiku where he appealed to Nigerians to put him in their prayers.

“My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA” he tweeted.

Nigeria now has 28 confirmed active cases of Coronavirus with 1300 suspected cases under surveillance.

The infection rate has passed the 300,00 mark worldwide with more than 11,000 dead.
