A lady was left visibly angry after receiving four “gifts” from her boyfriend on Christmas day.
According to a video shared by World Star Hip Hop, the lady could not hold back her disdain for her boyfriend who wrapped the receipts for the bills he had helped her pay during the course of the year and presented it to her as Christmas gift.
In the 59-second video, the African-American lady can be seen excitedly opening the four wrapped gifts one after the other, only to be disappointed after seeing the contents.
Also in the video was the “offending” boyfriend, also African-American, who makes some commentaries defending his actions after the revelation of each “gift”.
As the first gift was revealed to be electricity bill, the boyfriend said he ensured she was not in the “dark all year long” and she replied that, “I should have known that you were about to do something stupid like that”
The second gift turned out to be a “car note”, and the boyfriend said she was able to take her friends to the club thanks to him.
The third gift turned out to be a “phone bill”, and the boyfriend said she was able to call her friends and family throughout the year because of his effort.
The third gift turned out to be money for “rent”, and the boyfriend said she could pay for her rent throughout the year because of him.
He then goes ahead to tell her “Merry Christmas”.
