Nigerian singer Simi has revealed that she and fellow artist Falz share a special musical connection, which she describes as “chemistry.” In a recent appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ Simi discussed her past collaborations with Falz, including their 2016 joint EP, ‘Chemistry,’ which sparked rumors of a romantic relationship between the two.
Simi clarified that the rumors were unfounded, but acknowledged the strong musical bond between her and Falz. She also hinted at an upcoming new song featuring Falz, set to release later this month.
“I have one more single coming out at the end of this month… I’m featuring Falz! We have a history, and people loved our previous collaborations. We’re doing something again for the culture, and I’m really excited,” Simi said.
This new collaboration comes after Simi’s marriage to singer Adekunle Gold in 2019 and the birth of their child, Adejare, in 2020. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new song, which promises to bring back the magic of Simi and Falz’s musical “chemistry.”
