Bayelsa State Governor, Deputy Allegedly Involved in Fist Fight

Sad and Horrid news have generated from the Bayelsa State Government House located in Yenogoa, the State capital as it was reported by news Agency, Independent, that the state house was turned into a boxing ring some days ago.

The scuffle according to reports involved highly placed individuals within the state government.

According to the News agency’s source, the combatants were the two major occupants of the State Government House, the State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson and his Deputy, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah.

The alleged scuffle was reported to have started after the Deputy Governor of the state advised his boss to pay three months salary arrears to the state’s civil servants in order to maintain peace in the state.

The alleged fight, witnessed by some aides and domestic workers was reported to have started when the state Governor, apparently angry at the confrontation threw the first punch.

The Deputy Governor was reported to have countered and retaliated but the fight was halted by security personnel attached to the state officials.
