Big Brother Naija All-stars housemate, Angel Smith, has expressed her strong opinion about the male winners of the popular reality show, stating that she believes none of them deserved to win as they didn’t bring as much value to the show as the female contestants did.
During her diary session in the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ 2023, Angel candidly shared her thoughts with Big Brother. She asserted that in all the seasons she had watched, including her own season (Season 6, in which Whitemoney emerged as the winner), she personally felt that a woman was more deserving of the grand prize than any of the male winners.
While she acknowledged that ultimately, public opinion would determine the winner, she remained firm in her belief that women should have won in the editions where men emerged as the champions.
The 23-year-old housemate elaborated on her stance, emphasizing that women had made significant contributions to the show throughout its various seasons. She pointed out elements like their attire, which often added flair and diversity to the house dynamics. Moreover, Angel highlighted the drama that the female contestants brought, which undoubtedly played a crucial role in keeping the show entertaining and engaging for the audience.
Furthermore, Angel emphasized that women had displayed a wide range of talents, personalities, and skills that enhanced the overall quality of the show. From strategizing and forming alliances to showcasing their emotional depth, the female housemates had contributed in multifaceted ways.
