Scores of worshippers were killed on Thursday evening when suicide bombers believed to be Boko Haram members blew themselves up near a mosque in Maiduguri, witnesses said.
According to a witness, Muhtari Ahmadu, “All the people in the mosque died. Not a single one escaped.”
Another witness who give not give his name however said he personally counted 42 blasts after the blast.
The blast was said to have occurred around 6.20pm on Thursday.
