This led many to believe that he had landed a role in the Netflix blockbuster.
The glimpse of Bolanle on the movie set ignited a wave of excitement among his fans, who eagerly awaited his performance in the film. Unfortunately, when ‘Extraction 2’ was finally released, to the dismay of many, Bolanle Ninalowo did not make an appearance in the final cut. Sensing the disappointment among his supporters, the actor took to his Instagram page to extend his sincerest apologies for creating false expectations and to clarify his involvement in the movie.
In his Instagram post, Bolanle revealed that although he did not feature in the main movie, he did participate in a mockumentary titled ‘Distraction; The Extraction of Don,’ which was inspired by ‘Extraction 2’. This entertaining mockumentary revolves around a group of audacious mercenaries who hatch a plan to kidnap the creative director, Donovon Goliath, in their quest to obtain his Netflix password.
To appease his loyal fans, Bolanle shared the short film and expressed his remorse by writing, “I AM SORRY YOU GUYS WERE DISTRACTED 😇 You know I ❤️ you!!! Now let’s see The Extraction of Don!!! A Netflix mockumentary inspired by Extraction 2👌🏽”
