Grammy award-winning Nigerian sensation Burna Boy has found himself embroiled in a war of words with veteran rapper Idris Abdulkareem following comments made by the Jaga Jaga rapper on the popular podcast “The Honest Bunch.” Abdulkareem categorically dismissed Burna Boy’s past statement from 2020, where the Grammy winner asserted that no artist had paved the way for his career.

In a recently released snippet from the podcast, Abdulkareem addressed various topics, and when it came to Burna Boy’s statements, he didn’t mince his words, labeling them as ‘stupid talk.’ This ignited a swift response from Burna Boy on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

In a now-deleted post on the platform, Burna Boy didn’t hold back, calling out Abdulkareem directly. His post read, “Abdul Kareem abi wetin dem dey call your papa, I no blame you.
