Breezy was sentenced to time already served in court on Tuesday (September 2nd), after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault of a fan in Washington D.C.  According to TMZ, the singer told the judge that he just wants the case to go away so that he can go on tour.

Last year, Brown, 25, and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy, were arrested for allegedly striking a fan outside a D.C. hotel. The “Loyal” singer rejected  a plea deal this past June that would have enabled him avoid further jail time, having already served four months in connection with the case.

Brown apologized in court, saying that the case had distracted from his career during this past year.

“I would like to say to the court that I’m sorry,” he reportedly said.

Hollosy was also convicted of misdemeanour assault in April but is yet to be sentenced.

The R&B start served two days in a D.C. jail, and 108 days in an L.A. County prison, since the D.C. incident violated his probation in the 2009 case with then girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown’s current girlfriend Karruche Tran was in attendance for moral support.
