General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye says that the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) will not disappear completely but only subside.
He stated this in a sermon titled, “Seven Ways To Deal With A Mountain” broadcast on Dove Television on Sunday.
According to him, only a miracle from God will make the disease disappear completely.
However, the revered cleric declared that the children of God would not be partakers of the calamities induced by the global pandemic.
Adeboye stressed that although COVID-19 would not disappear completely Christians must put their faith in God to protect them throughout the health crisis.
“The coronavirus pandemic will not disappear completely but it will only subside. It is only a miracle that will cause the pandemic to disappear completely. God has told me that his children who worship him in truth would be exempted from calamity associated with the pandemic.
“I told you that this year, the world will behave like a child in convulsion. I told you at the beginning of the year, even though I am not a prophet, but a Pastor. You will come out of this problem safe and sound, but you must take the step of faith,” Adeboye said.
