Despite Allegedly Using N-Word, Trump Sees Increase In Black Supporters

Maybe the Black community doesn’t hate Trump as initially assumed as the American President saw a surge in his support from Black Americans

This comes even after reports emerged that Trump used the N-word in a recording while on the TV Show ‘The Apprentice’

At the moment, the approval rating from the Black community sits at 36% which represents double of what it was last year and it’s more than triple what it was in 2016 when it sat at a depressing 8%

What are the reasons for this? Well, it is speculated that it is largely due to Black unemployment reaching new low levels as it was 5.9% in May

“More Americans, including black Americans, are finding job opportunities – and by that I mean, it’s not just ‘you must take the one job you find.’ You are seeing that there are multiple opportunities…”Horace Cooper of the National Center for Public Policy Research said.

Meanwhile, Kanye West had to come out to defend his views on Trump after he was grilled on a late night show with Jimmy Kimmel.

He rejected the notion that Black people are automatically Democrats even though historically Black people have usually voted for a Democrat.

West said: “As a musician, African-American guy out in Hollywood…everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me. And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn’t say it out loud or my career would be over, I’d get kicked out of the black community, because blacks, we’re supposed to have a monolithic thought – we can only be Democrats…”
