Luxury car maker, Lamborghini has made a customised SC20 for a car lover who had the cash to splash.
This custom-made, windshield-less convertible is estimated to cost over $1 million (approximately N500 million) and was commissioned by an unnamed customer who was with the designers throughout the design process.
This car is the ultimate, street-legal racing machine.
Made at the company’s Centro Stile design centre near Bologna, Italy, the car comes equipped with a 6.5-litre V12 engine powering all four wheels through a custom-made seven-speed gearbox.
The body of the car is made of carbon fibre to lighten it up, while it spots two large fins wrapped around its front splitter and a three-stage rear wing rests on its back.

According to the company, the SC20 is the second one-off created by the Sant’Agata Bolognese’s Motorsport department, after the SC18 Alston unveiled at the World Finals 2018.
“The SC20 has been developed to meet the wishes of the customer, who was involved in the design right from the first drawings by Lamborghini Centro Stile’s stylists,” Lamborghini said on its website.
“The shared goal was to create a unique vehicle with an extreme design and performance, able to combine aerodynamic solutions derived from racing Lamborghinis with original lines and exclusive details.
“The carbon-fiber bodywork optimally directs the air flow in such a way as to allow comfortable driving even at high speeds.
“The pronounced front splitter is framed by two fins and the air intakes on the front hood, while the sculpted sides incorporate the same solutions adopted on the Essenza SCV12.
“The muscular rear end is topped by a large carbon-fiber wing which can be set in three positions: Low, Medium and High Load.”
Lamborghini further said, “the SC20 features exclusive details, starting with the bodywork colours, based on Bianco Fu – a white colour created for the customer – adorned with Blu Cepheus livery.
“The engine is the most powerful produced by Lamborghini, a naturally aspirated 6,498 cc V12 which produces 770 hp at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm torque at 6,750 rpm, supplied through an optimized seven-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) transmission.”
Nigeria’s flamboyant former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, may have his eyes on the machine, as he already owns the N460 million Lamborghini Aventador Roadstar convertible.
However, he may need at least N40 million more this time.
