Obviously, the ties between D’banj and Don Jazzy is stronger than their recent rift.
D’banj is aware of the immense contributions of Don jazzy to his music career and he’s giving due honour.
He informed Beat Fm presenters Olisa Adibua and Maria Okan that Don jazzy will produce songs from his forthcoming 10th anniversary album.
Via a telephone call to the radio station, he revealed:
“Ten years ago, October 4, 2004 to be precise, I got on stage to perform for the first time and now ten years later D’banj has become a brand. Don Jazzy worked with me from the beginning and I can tell you for sure that my 10th anniversary album will drop soon and there are many producers on it, including Don Jazzy.”
After 8 years of jointly managing Mo’hit records and being the best of friends, they both went separate ways in 2012.
D banj penned a record deal with Kanye West’s GOOD music and subsequently, Don Jazzy revamped Mohit records to birth the fast growing Mavins record.
Their incorrigible difference however didn’t stop them from sitting together in shows.
