The United States President-elect, Donald Trump has retracted the feared policy to ban Muslims from entering into the United States.

The president-elect’s website has since his announcement as the winner of the November 8, 2016 presidential poll taken down the policy which has been one of the most feared promises of the president-elect.

The page which had earlier hosted the policy which Donald Trump declared in his December statement on his website now redirects users to another page encouraging voters to donate to his campaign.

It is worthy of note that the page was available till the morning of the election according to online caches.

However, the redirection of the page was done later on the election night.

Donald Trump’s win has created unrest among the Muslim and Black communities in the United states.

Following his announcement as the winner of the elections, Americans trooped out to register their dissatisfaction at the result of the poll by organising a protest which led to the burning of the president-elect’s effigy and the US flag.
