Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mrs Farida Waziri on Sunday lost one of her daughters to the cold hands of death.
Mrs. Jackie Ifidon-Ola who was based in London died in the early hours of Sunday at an Abuja hospital after she was rushed in for treatment.
Burial rites for the deceased aged 39 would take place in Abuja on Saturday, a source close to the family revealed.
The deceased is survived by husband, two children and parents.
Mr. Ade Williams, media aide to the Waziris’ confirmed the sad incident, “Since the incident happened, highly placed Nigerian leaders have been visiting the Waziri family to console them at their Abuja home.”
