Newly-reappointed Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has advised relatives of policemen to warn them against extortion and other nefarious activities while in service.

Adejobi, who was reappointed on Thursday, issued the warning in a Facebook post.

He said that the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun has restructured the IGP Monitoring Unit and X Squad to go after erring personnel, warning that anyone caught in the act would not be spared.

“Those who are related to police officers should please warn them, and caution them against extortion on the road, and in any form, as the IGP has restructured and strengthened the IGP Monitoring Unit and X Squad, to go after erring police personnel, and restore sanity, dignity and honour into the NPF.

“Warn them now to desist from bad behaviours, which they know and aware that they are indeed bad and unprofessional because the force won’t pity anyone caught in action.

“Also, let me drop this warning here. Dont even bother to call the Force PRO for any help when someone is caught in action. I wont help. I am sorry, I meant it, I wont help. To before warned is to before harmed,” Adejobi said.
