France cruise past Morocco, end Africa’s World Cup final dream

A dominant France scored twice to end Morocco’s fairy-tale run and qualify for the final of the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

Theo Hernandez grabbed the first goal in the 5th minute and Randal Kolo Muani netted in the 79th minute to send Les Bleus into Sunday’s final against Argentina.

Morocco went into Wednesday night’s encounter on the back of impressive performances against Portugal, in the quarter-finals, and Spain, in the round of 16.

The Atlas Lions became the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the Mundial after securing a 1-0 win over Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portugal.

However, Walid Regragui’s side failed to keep the defending champions at bay.

  • Morocco entered the match on Wednesday night feeling confident after putting up strong showings in the previous two games, against Portugal in the quarterfinals and Spain in the round of 16 respectively.

  • It is my opinion that it is helpful to spend some time playing games like these on sometimes since they assist to relieve stress; however, it is not a good idea to do so on a regular basis because it may cause you to disregard other commitments.
